I take 4000 IU vit D. Nothing else. I suppose you could make a case for vit K2. But there aren't really any other vitamins we are likely to be deficient in if we eat a decent diet.
Too much of water soluble ones are simply pee'd down the toilet in expensive wee. Too much of fat soluble ones can result in overdose and that can cause problems. Too much of some things can be worse for you that too little.
thanks will put that on my shopping list
Of course I answered your question literally - vitamins only. There are possibly other supplements to consider - magnesium and calcium as the main ones. Magnesium is for muscle cramps above all but the type of salt may have an influence on other things (whether it is citrate, oxide, taurate and so on)
This is a fair article about magnesium in general and the second article you see in the link mentions the various types available. Someone claims that glycinate is best for inflammation - doesn't mean it is the best for the inflammation in PMR though.
You should take vitamin D with calcium. You may find that other vitamins may just be boosting the coffers of the supplement manufacturers. Make absolutely sure you need other vitamins.
I take d3/calcium and k2 plus magnesium
Same as I do. Must take D3 with K2 and Magnesium for better absorption.
I also take D3 and K2, just in case. Earlier this year, a rheumatology nurse, whose full name I don't remember gave the society a talk, when she said that nobody is yet sure whether or not K2 does help your calcium end up in bones, rather than arteries.
I take osteo care which has all sorts in and omega 3 fish oil.
