We arrived in Cyprus very early hours yesterday and it was only later when I went to take my usual dose of 5mg that I realised (with horror) that I’d inadvertently packed a supply of just 1mg, which meant they’d only last a few days.
Fortunately - after much panicking and speaking to a local doctors nurse, she directed me to a local pharmacy where I could actually buy some ‘over the counter’. I couldn’t believe my luck!! Just over €5 for a box of 100!!! They’re called Corotrope, and I was a bit wary until I saw Prednisolone on the box.
Phew is all I can say…and lesson to oneself, don’t decide to sort my meds supply drawer out again the day before setting off on holiday.
I was so annoyed with myself as I’m usually so pedantic about double-checking and triple-checking - but there you go. 🙄
