Just wondering if anyone has experience of using CBD oil (the one without the highs!) alongside Prednisolone? I’ve been doing some research and it seems it might be useful for inflammation and the anxiety side-effects of Pred. Hoping it might be dual purpose, but don’t really know enough about it yet to take he plunge!

You will find a fair bit of discussion about it if you look at the list of Related Posts - to the right of the screen on a computer, possibly you scroll down on a phone, not sure.
In general though the overall conclusions seem to have been it doesn't really help much with PMR itself although it may help sleep and other add-on problems.
Thank you for your fast response!
Nothing to do with CBD and PMR but thought I'd let you know anyway. We managed to get hold of a small bottle of CBD oil (£55) to see if it would help with the pain my husband is in while waiting for surgery to replace both of his hips....did absolutely nothing, but his pain is bone rubbing on bone so not surprised it didn't help.
Hi, I have CBD that does have some THC in it. I gave it a try a couple years ago for GCA and I did not find any improvement with GCA or help decreasing my prednisone dose. I do use it on a rare occasion if I need to level out any anxiety (people related).
My husband used the cbd lotion on his foot to help with inflammation after surgery, he said it helped but was turning his foot purple so he stopped using it🤷♀️. Best, f/m
