Thanks Heron, interesting read.
Thank you, Heron.😁
Wow! I had allowed myself to run out of vit K2 and my teeth are very sensitive. Grateful for the post!
thank you. Will try it
Thanks for this. I assume that reference to vitamin K3 in the last sentence is a typo?
Yes it must be. It's just what some dental office posted. It seemed the best of what I looked at, trying to find something sensible. There was some sort of incomprehensible research paper, and then a bunch of this sort of thing. Thought it would be more authentic than just my anecdotal experience.
They do say K1 is "less toxic" than K2. As I have never seen anywhere mention that K2 is toxic, far from it, that also should be corrected. Vitamin K3 is toxic, therefore irrelevant to us.
I will look for a better article.
I have added another, longer, article to this post.
I have been on vitamin K2 for years for my bones. But I still got tooth sensitivity in a couple of areas. So in my case it didn’t seem to make any difference. What does work for me are the toothpastes for tooth sensitivity. I just start brushing in that area loading the toothpaste on the sensitive part and that seems to work.
Thank you Jean. Most interesting.
