Covid jab update

Received #1 injection ...Pfizer, 24 hours ago.

No pain at injection site, not even sore shoulder this morning. All seems ok , so far.

The clinic was well organized and seriously efficient. Parking was easy, with traffic directed quickly. The clinic entry was easy to locate, and we were quickly signed in, and seated for our injections. After the injection, we were seated in a large gymnasium type area, where we were observed for 15 minutes, to check for reactions. At the same time, circulating nursing staff were moving methodically through the well spaced rows, assigning our 2nd appointments for follow up injection.

I found the whole experience simple, efficient, and reassuring.

Good luck to all of you still waiting for your immunization, and be safe.

Kind Regards, Jerri

PMR diagnosed 2013, currently using 6 mg prednisone.

That sounds like the experience we all want and hope happens. Sounds perfect, really pleased to read your post. We know that efficient and professional people abound everywhere but so often only hear the negative. Your post is the perfect way to start the day and thank you for uplifting my spirits.

My poor 80 year old sister-in-law gave up after waiting 2hours for a 4 30pm vaccine in horrendously long queue...freezing cold/dark. Many gave up, or had chairs and blankets....she is ringing surgery Monday to go elsewhere.....my OH, had your very good experience....but not where sister-in-law went!
