3000 mg prednisone over 3 days ..done. Now just wait and see. Or not see. So far the eye seems the same today.

At 8am my rheumatologist called me as a result of a message I left last night at 11 pm on her office line. On vacation. Checking vm. She was gobsmacked
“So unfair. You did all you were supposed to do.” So supportive. What a great doctor.
I am so glad that you feel in safe, caring, efficient hands. You have been astoundingly brave, 1000mgs must make you feel completely deranged. There are an awful lot of healing vibes flowing your way alvertta, from your forum family.
Still no more I can say than all the best.
More exposure of some of the cases recently does seem called for. But yours is particularly unfair.

It is a standard pulse therapy protocol in GCA.
Yes 1000 per day for three days. Blast that GCA. THEN wait. Taking 50 now for one month. My rheumatologist is in Milton. Dr Yan Liu. I found her thru my family dr. I also see dr young ..neurologist in Owen Sound. Find him quite vague. And unreliable. Says he will call and follow up. Then forgets. Dr Liu is on it.
When I originally had CGA in October 2018 exactly same protocol.
