I would like to Thank everyone for taking the time to read and respond to posts, I've only been a member for 3 months but have found the knowledge and support of this forum invaluable, Thanks to you all I now feel informed when I attend appointments instead of floundering about in the dark as I had been for the previous year!! I appreciate everyone's time and efforts, long may it continue 🤗🤞
A big Thank you to everyone for the support this ... - PMRGCAuk
A big Thank you to everyone for the support this forum provides
Thank - that is why most of are here
Ditto that Topcar! I have learnt so much here from all the volunteers and contributors about GCA and meds management - I feel so much more assured and confident about living with this condition, a big thank you to all 👏👏👏
Absolutely, it's no exaggeration to say I would possibly be dead now if I hadn't had timely advice over the years about adrenal gland problems. And even without that, people have always given me sound advice and encouragement when needed on many occasions when battling for the correct treatment of my PMR.
I know for sure I would have lost more sight without this forum and giving my rheumatologist the UK-slow taper (that is what I call it) and him adopting it...Big Giant Thanks. xo
Yes, many of us are very grateful for this forum. So much advice and support available. I like to think this will continue to be the case.
Many thanks indeed. The forum is illuminating, intelligent, reassuring, comforting, sensible!! I’ve learnt so much here that has helped me to understand the complexities of GCA. Thank you especially to our constant experts.
Joined this forum in December 2019, having been diagnosed with GCA in September. I still feel like a newbie. The knowledge, support and encouragement from this forum have been God sent. NO ONE can understand this illness like those who have it and have gone through all the ups and downs on a daily basis. Through it all. many carry other diagnoses and it can be overwhelming. I am now on 8 mg prednisone and Actemra. Every taper, I hold my breath in fear. Thank you all for who you are and all you continue being for me. Jean
