I have thrush and just found out doing research you shouldn’t take prednisone with thrush. What do you do?

Thrush
Maybe you shouldn’t take Pred when you have thrush (but where does it say that, why and what are the consequences ?) Other that what we know already - that it weakens immune system. Plus you cannot just stop it once you’ve taken it for a few weeks.
There are many on here who have continued to take Pred - myself included - and on very high doses - and lived to tell the tale with no significant problems.
Personally if it’s a choice between taking the Pred to preserve sight and not - I know where my money is!
Keep taking the pred and treat the thrush.
I think Thrush is a small price for the protection by the Pred if it is GCA you have. Thrush can be treated concurrently. It is very common in those taking Pred and I’ve not heard of them having to stop and in any case they wouldn’t be able to stop just like that if they have been on it for more than 3 weeks as it could be dangerous. Have sought treatment for it yet?
For thrush . Biopsy hopefully Tuesday. rheumatologist wanted to stop prednisone because she doesn’t think I’m high risk going by the numbers I guess I felt more symptoms according to me today and maybe more blurry vision so I took prednisone today was only on for two days since Wednesday Stopped friday
I have thrush, doctors know this , I've been twice to hospital app with very knowledgable doctors dealing with my chest infection, know I'm on prednisilone, and are not at worried about it, so where does this come from
Oral thrush is easily cured with a prescription mouth wash. I then ate daily a breakfast of yogurt.
I am down to 3 mg pred. Two months ago I developed inflamed fingers, below the nails, and anti-fungal cream is working fine.
