To all of you who responded to my actemera inquiry I Thank you for telling me what to expect. But to my surprise Rheumatologist did not put me on actemera. Instead he is taking me down from 80 mgs to 75 mgs then 70 mgs until I get to 50 mgs then blood tests to see how things are going from that point on if need be will taper further. Of course this all means if there is any problems he wants to know immediately.
Call him even if it is something small he wants to know about it.
I just wish everyone the other doctor's care and they cooperate. Keeping my fingers crossed for no complications.
Told me to take my time in tapering and I really have admit my double vision seems better at 75 then 80.

Right now the vision disturbs for about an hour after I get up but it disappears and really I am not bothered by it until I take a nap comes back for 15 minutes then gone. I feel I have a great rheumatologist. He takes his time with everyone he has a patient in with. I really don't know he spends a hour with each patient but every time I am there I get to usually leave in amount an hour and half. Time well spent.
Yes I did he said this typical but if during the day I get this more no reason. Does not go away after 30 minutes I am to call him. So far so good. Thanks for helping.
I'm always overjoyed when I read that someone is getting the help and care they need.
This level of consideration makes you feel more confident in your treatment , and without the White coat stress , the lack of Anxiety helps you respond to treatment much better.
