My journey with PMR is much easier now that I am settled into 5 mgs of prednisone per day. I was not allowed the drug for five months while awaiting bariatric surgery. But now, eight weeks after surgery, I feel that I am nicely settled. I have only occasional tweaks of pain from the PMR and I am losing weight quickly--the desired outcome. This is my fourth bout of PMR since I was initially diagnosed with it in 2002. It never becomes easier to bear. And I have lost over 50 pounds in this eight weeks.

Glad to hear you feel settled; a good feeling after so much choppy water.

Excellent - worth waiting for one feels?
I relish my days now--thanks!
Well done - good to hear from someone who is coming out the other end. Is the weight loss because you are now down to 5 mg or are you severely cutting carbs?
Glad you are feeling better
