tingling face

i have tingling face and head i am fed up going to doctors and doing nothing has anyone got any thing like that .thank you

Is it the whole of your head and face or just parts - if so where? I get a numbness with tingling on my top lip and side of face (on my GCA side). Is your tingling painful? The numbness is painful. Mine goes after a short time on the lips but the toes and thigh remains. Like you no one seems to know, in my case they say it's nerve endings as I have it in my big toes and parts of my thighs. Like you I'd love an answer. Sorry I can't help you only share my experience. I'm sure others will be along soon with similar.

I had the same thing often in my leg as well GP could not give any answers only a problem with nerve endings perhaps ?

I now take magnesium tablets once a day and it appears to have solved the problem.

One of my GCA symptoms was a numbness with pins and needles sensation on the right upper quarter of my face. My scalp was slightly tender and I had a stiff neck. It's taken me a long time to accept that these symptoms were GCA related. None of my symptoms were dreadfully painful but did not respond to paracetamol.

Have you any other symptoms like tinnitus or a cough?

I have pins and needles in the back of my head also a sharp pain in the back oif my head and pins and needles in my head also a stiff neck doc doesnt seem to know must be to do with the G C A thats all they will say glad to hear some one else is suffring the same as thought i was on my own Also have tinnitus but have suffered that for 11 yrs may try magnisium xx

I have often experienced numbness in my feet and legs,also my hands and accross my face around my eyes and accross my nose.l also have a pulse like sound in my head all the time.l too have not had much response from present GP,the previous one sent me to the hospital for tests,but nothing was diagnosed,this was only for the numbness in my hands ,feet and legs,because the other issues had not appeared at that time.l am going to book an appointment with my GP and try again to get some answers .ATB.

Ever since I fell off a horse & got a neck injury 40 years ago, I get a tingling face if I sit in non ergonomic chairs, or have pillows test don't suit me. So in my case it's not GCA related
