No, it’s not with excitement!!! haha. Has anyone else had this? It’s getting to be there in my shoulders most of the time, mostly felt on the right side.
Would be interest to hear anyone else’s experience of this, thanks

Where? I get a tingling sensation into my shoulderblades - and it is due to myofascial pain syndrome where hard spasmed muscles irritate the nerves that run to that area.
Thanks PMR, should have explained it’s just at the back of my neck and right shoulder and it’s a tingling just under the skin
Yes, I suppose that's what mine feels like, just lower down. Could be the same - are your shoulders tight? Myofascial pain syndrome leads to the formation of hard knots in the main muscles on either side of the spine, particularly in the shoulders, about rib level and in the low back They can irritate the nerves nearby and cause referred pain - in neck and arms, ribs and upper legs depending on which muscles/nerves.
Yes, it feels like it moves across between my shoulder blades, I notice it more in the evening! I am on 10 mg prednisone. Diagnosed in December.
Hi Ivaughn, I seem to feel it more during the day. I am also on 10mg 1st diagnosed September last year and was on 15mg to start. Went down to 10 no problems and blood results lowered, then had to work so hard doing up a house for about 3 weeks, felt terrible and blood markers had gone up. Am having to take it easy now and pace myself. Seeing a Rheumatologist on 20th February and will see what happens next, scared of reducing too fast
I go to rheumatologist Wednesday to see results of blood work and dexascan, really hope I can reduce more
You seem to have moved through the system very quickly and I felt like you, it can’t be quick enough! However after overdoing it and feeling awful, I am very wary about reducing speedily and I hope the Rheumatologist isn’t going to fight me on a slow reduction. Please be careful as you could be too speedy. Good luck for Wednesday and let us know how you get on, 👍🏻
Yes, I don’t feel my inflammation was as bad as most people. I am hesitant about reducing, but am hopeful!
