Are there any conclusions to be drawn here? I have just discovered that I didn’t take my prednisolone yesterday morning. I am on 2.5/3 mg. I didn’t have any pain and had the best nights sleep I’ve had for ages. Am I being too optimistic in thinking PMR might finally have left me after 3 years?

Forgotten dose
It may have, do hope so 😊 but I would still continue with tapering regime, although you may be able to speed it up a little.
At low doses no harm being done, but enough to keep things under wraps.
You won’t be 100% sure until you’ve been off Pred for at least a couple of months and no return of symptoms- but it does give hope!
I think you have reason to be optimistic margiebell4. Don’t rush the last bit of taper though. I wonder if some form of every other day would suit you?
Wow... weird but GREAT!
Possibly - but one swallow doesn't make a summer! I have missed pred for a day without problems, more than that is a different matter.
Hi Margiebell, I hope you are right; however, don't let hopes go to high; I had 4 great days of feeling my normal old self, have no idea why. But I crashed again after.
Such a devious disease. I hope you are right after 3 years; I am only at 19 months.
