Don't want to shout it too loud but since my last post on here re steroid reduction I have started to feel better. I am not so tired and listless and have managed to do a few walks which I'm sure have helped and am generally feeling more optimistic. I have begun to reduce steroids very very slowly. Wendy

Feeling better

That sounds very positive for you and encouraging for all those like me that have only recently been diagnosed and burdened with this awful illness, disease ( not sure what to call it!). It helps to know what may be expected further down the road! Thank you and best wishes.
Hope you are still feeling better and reducing successfully. I have been on the preds for 2 years and 3 mths and feel as you do....better in myself. I had been on 2 mg per day for a while so thought I'd reduce down - hoping to get to zero in a month or two. I have got to 1.5 mg but in the last few days have felt tired out and a bit odd ( like bad PMR/ pred days) no pain though as before but some soreness in hips when pressed. Coincidence? Thinking I'll stop at 1.5 mg a while? Is this pred withdrawal?
