Diagnosed in January this year and started on 20mg. Now down to 10mg and, touch wood, this is my best week since I was diagnosed. No pain just a few manageable aches in the morning and the fatigue has been so much better this week. I know I have a long way to go and I’m sure I will have my bad days and possible flares but I just wanted to share some positive news.

Feeling somewhat better
Hooray for good days! 🥳 Go steady and I’m sure you’ll have more.
Great. That's what we need - good days to show light at the end of the tunnel. Hope it keeps good for you.
Don't go down too quickly. Take it easy with your reduction. 1mg per month from now on. 👍
Good to read you are feeling a bit better. Keep up the good work. 🌹
It is a bit of a roller coaster journey and I am delighted you are feeling better at the moment. The good times are well worth celebrating. Wishing you a lovely weekend.
Good, love to hear positive news. Long may it continue.
Don’t you just love it when the planets all align and you get a taste of normal?
Great!
Thanks everyone x
That's encouraging🌝 diagnosed in December last year, down to 8mg and hoping that so far so good continues. Thanks for sharing.
Happy Easter!
👍😁
Great to hear some Good News ! I was diagnosed in middle of December, have tapered to 2.5mg, which may be too fast. However, so far doing OK. Will not try to taper for quite some time, until I am sure I have "stabilized."
That’s a fast taper. Well Done. Hope alol goes well
So good to hear of your state, feeling well at this dose. It’s nice to “settle in” and come to terms with the diagnosis and medication. Acceptance brings peace of mind.
Overall I find I feel better and better as time passes (was diagnosed May 1/18, started on 20mg, currently at 8.5mg). The lower dose means I worry less about side effects, and the ones I do have seem to be lessening. I’m certain those around me are relieved that my mood swings (at higher doses) have lessened. So now when I’m feeling moody, I blame menopause! 😉 The only down side is existing other aches and pains are emerging (OA in knees, waiting for replacement surgery). At least extra strength Tylenol helps with this.
Wishing you continued feelings of wellness, and as mentioned, slow and steady taper especially below 10mg.
Thank you so much for your response. Still feeling good today despite being very active. Going to take it easy tomorrow. Don’t want to un do the progress . All the best x
Really good news👍
