in spine and femoral neck my consultant has recomended Ibandronate, I have googled it and the side effects look horrendous, I can,t take AA any ideas Wendy

There isn't much between it and AA, is there? If you couldn't take AA I would guess that you won't get on with this one either. You could try looking at the other treatments which aren't bisphosphonate - strontium ranelate and calcitonin perhaps?
