DEXA Scan

Okydoky, something to look forward to I have a DEXA scan tomorrow afternoon, perhaps that will give me something to cheer up about. I'll update with results as and when I get them. Might have to wait for Doctor though as my NHS App seems to have stopped delivering information at the moment, which is a shame as it was very efficient previously.

This is my second one, first two years ago had excellent results, so fingers crossed.

Indeed they are, very crossed, the last results were so good I have the feeling that these can only be "less good"

If you've done all you can to maintain the good results you had previously, and you know you couldnt have done anymore, then whatever the result, you can at least feel good about your own actions.I'm hopeful you won't be disappointed though.

I did reply in an earlier post that I was going to ask the surgery if I could be referred for my second one after 3.5 years. No problem with the GP referring me so we will see how long it takes for an appointment.

Beautiful picture - thank you. Haven't had a dexa scan since 2017 when first diagnosed with PMR but can't remember anything about it so it must have been OK!!

Had my scan this morning. All normal and no change from 5 years ago. That's one up side of being morbidly obese. I am always weight bearing.

I get my scan after March they getting new machine,then 2 more infusions that be my 5 years up so need to have infusions this year.xx
