Hi, I have pelvic floor dysfunction which also affects my bowels. I also have pudendal neuralgia as well as a rectal.prolapse and intussusception.I get chronic pain after a bowel motion and often struggle to go or have to work hard to make my bowels regular and comfortable.
I have had 2 nerve block injections and having the third tomorrow as well as botox into the puborectalis muscle to try and stop it spasming.
I see a pelvic floor physio who is wonderful. I also see an osteopath who is very helpful.
I would strongly recommend you find a very good pelvic floor physio as they can really help.
Hope this helps.
Take care and good luck.
Try yoga 🧘♀️ that has helped me more then anything else..”Your Pace Yoga” reliving pelvic pain by Dustine Miller..hope it helps you as much as me
I think my bowel issue (constipation) may have contributed to my pelvic floor issues.
