Have you had your bladder examined with a camera? My symptoms were very similar and I was diagnosed with Interstitial Cystitis. I had a bleeding, ulcerated bladder. I have finally had a full urinary diversion with an Indiana pouch. No more pelvic pain. Took over 10 years .

I have had two Ganglion impar blocks for mostly right-sided-sided pain issues - rectal pressure, constipation, urinary urgency, and significant scrotal pain, being a male. I had two because the first was very effective, but I have not had a third because the second had far less impact than the first. Pelvic pain therapy from an excellent pelvic therapist has been consistently more effective. In addition, constipation and urinary urgency issues have been virtually eliminated with a bidet toilet seat and some dietary changes, which has been a game changer for me. The sense of never being emptied disappeared. You won't know about the effectiveness of the Ganglion impar block until you try it. I had other blocks with similar results - good at first and with fewer results the second time around. Good luck with this.

I had that block several months ago for Pudendal Neuralgia. Didn't help my pain at all.

Good luck though!
