medication induced constipation

Hello,

I’ve been taking Lyrica for about 2 months and have been battling constipation. Any advice? Doctor recommended Magnesium and fiber but didn’t do much. I’d hate to have to go off the meds but might have to if I can’t find a solution!!

I take fibrogel 1 +1/2 sachet at night in water plus eat spoons with my morning cereals.I drink more water when it’s warmer weather too.sometimes a pear helps

stick with all bran. I take Pregabalin and codeine on occasion and all bran works for me very well. I also eat 2-3 pieces of fruit and veg or salad

I take laxido. Fibre can make things worse with some people!

I take magnesium citrate the other magnesium’s do nothing for my constipation I’ve tried them all Holland and Barrett is where I get mine but it must be citrate I’ve tried everything and it’s the only one that works for me
