I bad my gynaecology appointment yesterday due to ongoing pain around groin area for months on end. Turns out it's not related to pelvic and its actually my hip ligaments that's are inflammed. I have been discharged from there with no further appointments and that Dr will write to my gp to let him know what he found upon examination. Anyone suffered this and Any tips to heal would be helpful ? As I don't know what to do because my gp will just say its fibromyalgia pain again and send me away with more pain relief which I am sick of taking as it is.

Has anyone else suffered with inflamed hip ligaments ?
Your consultant should send your doctor a summary of your discussion, so they will see that and should give you treatment or a referral for it. I'd follow it up with your GP and ask what they plan to do.
Thankyou will do that x
I feel for you. I also have this condition and it affects my ability to walk any distance. I have found relief through remedial massage, cold gel or sprays and a Weleda product called Arnica lotion for muscles. I hope you can make some progress.
Thankyou for the tips where can I get lotion from ? Does it ever go away I'm sick of the pain it started 6months ago x
Have you tried any yoga stretches? My female chiropractor has given me some and they seem to be helping. Good luck!
Try your pace yoga healing pelvic pain …my hip pain was due to a compressed nerve (the pudendal nerve) and the yoga plus meditation was the only thing that helped all the meds they gave me made me sick…also a full body massages help to loosen the muscles around the nerve…I have found this is more of a a healing then a band aid I hope this helps
Try a TENS machine on buttocks or wherever pain radiates from. It can break muscle spasms which releives pain.
Muscles can be in spasm without us knowing , the really deep fibres. Buy a cheap machine at first to see if you like it.
Great for pain relief also.
Good luck
I would consult a physical therapist. They can accurately dagnoae where the pain originates and give you the right stretches, strengthening exercises, and targeted treatments for heat/ice therapy. I healed my own hip issue under the council of a good PT. It is often at least somewhat connected to alignment and pelvic floor pain. PTs see the system as a whole better than MDs do, in my experience.
