If Just want to know if anyone has suffered severe and constant pain from belly button downwards. It’s a dragging, pulling and extreme burning especially early morning. I can’t sleep at nights, sit or rest during the day as am in constant pain. If you’ve tried something that has worked. Would really appreciate a response, to know someone can understand my pain. Thank you.

It can be endometriosis

Then its not the case endometriosis is active when you still producing eggs. I wish you luck on your path to find the cause and solution

I’m 63, menopausal and a laparoscopy done 3 years ago found endo on my right ureter! This proves endometriosis CAN be found in post menopausal woman. The surgeon cauterized it away.

How is your digestion? Any problems? It might be your ileocecal valve. Chlorophyll from a health food store can help that.

Are you having regular BM’s? If not, try drinking a small amount of milk ( 1/8 cup ) with a tsp if ground flax seed stirred into it ).

Finally, has stress caused your vagus nerve to become tight? Meditation might help.

hi, that's interesting, will ask/pursue at next appt with the Gyni. have always had issues with BM's - will try your suggestion.

It is possible you could have a UTI infection in the urethra. They are very difficult to diagnose and treat.

I am having same problem at the moment for nearly a year. 4 different antibiotic and no better. The UTI gets cleared in the main bladder but not in the urethra tube. The urine test is non specific to what type of bacteria so i don't know what the cure will be long term.

Let us know how you get on. Good luck. I'm in UK.

thank u for the suggestion, have had lots of urine test done by GP and hospital (they have cultured it as well) and no infection found.

Hi! The tests at the offices miss nearly 50% of pathogens which can cause infections. I have pelvic pain every day since 4 months now and I am still trying to search for answers. Yesterday I read on the Internet that there are Companies mainly in the US that offer DNA testing for your urine. It is quite expensive (200 $ and express shipping might cost 100$) but may be worth a shot for you! One company named MicrogenDX doesnt only say which pathogens are in your urine and with how much of a percentage but they also tell you which antibiotics are resistant and which antibiotics may help. Those tests find bacteria that cant be cultured in normal testing from the offices. I didnt try it per now as I am still not sure if it is the bladder or my pelvis that are giving me the pain. But it might be a solution for you!

Better to call Dr, If it could be UTI it’s not something you want to leave.

I was diagnosed with endo last year at 51. Consultant was surprised, but very sure. I wouldn’t assume anything at anytime 😂

Hope you get things sorted and it’s not complicated.

Hi

I’m still going through process, I did have lap in Feb with Helica treatment. Still have bad symptoms, and trying Zoladex, third on Wednesday. My body is obviously stubborn and has no interest in menopause 😂, that hasn’t started working. Plan is six and MRI to check.

Currently on painkillers, I’ve bought some different herbal teas to try.

I know this is out there, but is there a bulge in your bellybutton? I'm just thinking of my experience with umbilical hernia and the pain in and behind my bellybutton and a bit lower. Just a thought.
