I am a bit concerned about your symptoms. Please consider the possibility of Vulvodynia. Read up on the condition. Causes bladder problem symptoms and the feeling of burning pee. The treatment is acupuncture.

I suggest reading about "pudendal neuralgia", and see if the symptoms coincide with yours x

I have exactly the same symptoms as you with no uti, but suffer with a chronic condition called interstitial cystitis. Hope you feel better soon

Ditto Babs, took years for a diagnosis as always thought it was a uti.

Hi after 40 years ,4 cystoscopies, trial s of various things , oxybutinin is the only thing that helps , I am lucky to only get it sporadically . My new gp has suspected pudendal nerve as I had two forcep deliveries with episiotomy. Tried lyrica for a while but it is a long term thing and couldn’t really tell if it made a difference. I get both conditions , coming back as a man next time! Take care.

Don’t accept any diagnosis that has not been assessed following investigations.

You are entitled to a second opinion, meanwhile look at the alternative possibilities mentioned above, such as IC and/or PN. I was misdiagnosed 12 years even after investigations. Finally, went back to another urologist, where the first diagnosis was discredited, but no offer of another diagnosis was offered. My new Gp thinks it may be Pudendal Neuralgia. I have an appointment with the pain clinic, God knows when this will come through, so meanwhile I’m going to a Specialist physio, who will be able to inform the diagnosis, but who is also working to reduce the pain.
