Tens/personal ultrasound machine - Pelvic Pain Suppo...
Tens/personal ultrasound machine
Hi there, I tried a TENS unit and unfortunately it increased my pain quite a bit within minutes. Back in the box it went. Perhaps others have a different response.
The best things for me continue to be watching my diet, relaxation breathing., sleeping with a pillow between my knees down to feet, and using Balneol lotion when the external anal area feels irritated (which is just about every day). I take 400 mg. of magnesium oxide and 20 mg. of Baclofen (prescription muscle relaxer), and 25 mg. of Pregabalin 3 times daily for peripheral neuropathy (which potentially could help the irritated inferior rectal nerve also).

I hear magnesium glyconate is good too...yes fear it's also my inferior rectal nerve and muscle dysfunction...I am also doing breathing, stretching, pillow between legs....also pt once every two weeks...taking cyclobenzaprine muscle relaxer once or twice a day and and gabapentin once a day....will try some magnesium again but I felt like it gave me heart palpitations when I used it before
