Lump in groin and pelvic pain.

I have had pelvic pain for over 18 months. I have had 3 medium sized fibroids for some time and I am also menopausal. I had a mri of pelvic area a few months ago and everything else was fine. Recently I found a lump in my groin area and have to go fir an ultra sound next week. I am really worried about it. Has anyone else experienced anything similar?

Pretty much been through all of those things. My groin lump turned out to be a hernia. Your ultrasound should reveal that if that’s the case. A lot of my hip pain went away after I had the hernia repaired. Hope your lump wound be anything real serious. I’ve had eight surgery’s in my abdomen and pelvic area. i also had a job that involved heavy lifting and repetitive stress/bend over work. I’m also a passionate gardener which is hard to do as a lot of bending and squatting causes flares. it took me years to finally get a diagnosis of hypertonic pelvic floor dysfunction. Been in PT with a specialist for five months now and am slowly seeing some improvement. I used to be a push the limits kind of gal and it’s been a real challenge to start over with a less is more attitude as well as relearning how to breathe. it was incredible when I finally realized how often I held my breath and clenched my muscles especially when doing anything that required a physical effort.

I think Adrohair must mean lipoma not lymphoma. Lipoma is a fatty tissue lump which can disappear or not. But not a serious issue.
