Is it inside or is it bulging out of your vagina (prolapse)

It could be prolapse of uterus. If you go to doctors you can have peace of mind .not knowing makes you think the worst and google doesn't know you like a doctor does. A prolapse is not scary.it can be helped or just left til is painful or interfers in your life

Hi! It certainly sounds like a uterine prolapse, I'm afraid. Mine started as a bulge protruding about half an inch outside, I looked in the mirror, googled 'images' and recognised it straight away from the photos. If there's a little hole in the middle of it, and it comes down further when you strain, that's it. It's graded 1, 2, 3, or 4 depending on how far down it has come. I recommend you see a doctor, but preferably a gynaecologist. I don't want to worry you but if it's a prolapse, it won't go away, so you can't afford to ignore it. Mine's come down further in the couple of years since I first found it, but I wear a flexible pessary to keep it inside; not everyone's choice but it works for me. Honestly, there's no need to be scared. It's not life-threatening, just inconvenient. Best wishes.
