Pudendal Nerve & Sit bone

Can anyone recommend Pudendal nerve cushions. My pain is mainly in the sit bone area, coccyx area. I've tried Cushion you assets, specific donuts, cushions from the IC store, Thera-Seat (works the best but the cushion goes flat within 6 months and they are so expensive), Puttman's from the UK. Any suggestions would be welcomed.

I use these

Changed the covers on them to eonething nicer, but they literally make life bearable for me.

I also wasted thousands of dollars on seats that don’t work well. I now make my own foam cushions. I buy medium density foam from fabric empire, cut out a seat-sized piece, and further cut out the painful areas as needed. 2 inches thick works best and it is available on amazon for $36.50-a large sheet from which you can make many seats. They will wear out and need to be replaced. Just cover with a t shirt or pillow case. You’ll never go back. You’ll need good scissors

I’ll have to try your idea. Thank you!

Is the foam a beige color and about $33 from Fabric Temple? I looked on Amazon and it didn’t include shipping with my prime membership. Thanks

Not quite. Please check “medium density 2” x 30” x72” foam sheet” sold by Fabric Empire. Selling on Amazon for $36.50. Hope that helps

I’ve gotten mine at Bed Bath and Beyond and now, of all places, Frye Electronics. Black, wedge shaped, coccyx area cut out. $20. Only kind that help for me.

I use a travel neck pillow, which mimics a donut but open in the front so it doesn’t touch the delicate parts where my nerve pain is. I now also have to use an ice pack on top of the back part where my sit bones touch to numb the hot poker nerve pain I have on the left side.

I too have a closet full of cushions that did not work, at least for long.

Not what you're looking for?
