I have just had prolapse surgery. Am 3 weeks post op. Can't tell you get whether is successful but according to surgeon all went well during the operation. I had a virginal hysterectomy where they take away the uterus, repair the bladder and correct a rectocele. I am walking a mile a day now but get very tired. I have realised things are going to take some time to get better. I am 71 so healing takes longer now. They used stitches so different to what you are asking about. Hope you get some answers.
