Hi,

These two are absolutely fine to take together. I’ve taken them together in the past although I’m now on different medications for endometriosis and adenomyosis. I hope this helps and you find the gabapentin works for you

Hi,

I’ve got endometriosis, adenomyosis (uterine endometriosis) and interstitial cystitis. For me the transexmic acid didn’t work but I’ve got very heavy periods lasting 3 weeks out of every month with only a one week break before the next period. I failed all treatment for adenomyosis (have surgery for endometriosis as and when needed) and so am now on long term zoladex but am managed by an excellent endometriosis specialist as it should not really be used longer than 6 months. But it’s done on an individual basis and the fact I tried all treatments including multiple treatments at once to help. The gabapentin didn’t help enough so was moved to pregabalin. The pregabalin helps more now that I’m on a treatment that works for my IC but this is again done off license as I was a waiting list to have my bladder removed and reconstructed.

Oh my lord, it such cruel disease isnt it. I have adenomyosis, periods are horrific but trans does work for me, not so much pain wise but stops the clotting which is what i have terrible problem with as it like giving birth and labour pains.

So i also have ehlers danos( hypermobility syndrome) which has resulted in a ripped bicep and lower disk degeneration so i now need gabapentin. I see a good osteo and that gets me through but at mo i got to much goin on painwise that i need help but i was worried that that gaba may not b good with the trans.

Bladder reconstruction sounds scarey but u do anything dont you for a hope

Yes definitely the pain from endometriosis and adenomyosis are awful. With the IC I have been fortunate that I managed to convince my specialist to trial an immunosuppressant which has worked for very few IC sufferers and it has worked fantastically for me in terms of pain and urinary frequency. It looks as though mine may be due to an autoimmune type and those it didn’t work for possible don’t have an immune component to their IC. For me this makes sense as I have other medical conditions that involve the immune system so hopefully I can avoid the bladder surgery

Hi,

I’ve posted a link to the charity Endometriosis U.K. where there is a lot of very good information. You can also go onto our website and find information on endometriosis and adenomyosis. It’s an extremely debilitating condition affecting not every aspect of a women’s life including fertility. The medication and surgery you have for it is a very individual thing and is based on other gynae issues you may or may not have and how you have responded to these treatments. Again information is on the above websites. I hope this helps

100 mg is not much. Lyrica is more potent

As long as your under drs supervision I think you should be ok.
