Follow-up on bladder fulguration.

On July 19 I had a cystoscope that found acute inflammation. On the spot (no anesthetic) my doctor performed fulguration/burning of the inflamed areas. It was painful but since the procedure I’ve been much improved. Specifically my symptoms of frequent urination and pelvic pain have gotten much better. I notice that if my bladder is empty I will have some burning pain but it’s not bad. I can hold more in my bladder without feeling discomfort. I continue to be very careful about ingesting anything acidic, caffeine or chocolate.

Hi BaseballJane,

This is very good to here. Was it a Hunners lesion or an inflamed area with no known reason? I hope it continues to improve for you.
