Does anyone in this group have back issues? I have a grade 3 herniation at L4 and L5. Drs don’t think it related to my pelvic pain. I think it is a possibility. All comments welcome.

I have the same, and I am sure its related, as all those nerves originate from the same place.

I have similar, but it only started a few years after the pelvic pain began. I think that my back problem is a direct result of sitting in a crooked position as a response to the pelvic pain. My Physiotherapist agrees.

HI JOOLIBEE

I agree with you totally. It is just common sense to me. Too bad the medical comminity has such a hard time putting 2 and 2 together. Lol. 👍

I first had back issues (same herniated discs) then years later PN, triggered by surgery.. but I think if I didn’t have pre-existent discs problems perhaps I wouldn’t have pelvic issues now

Thanks so much for your responses. Sometimes I feel more like a dr than the dr does. Lol. It makes sense to me that if you have back issues it will affect other areas in your body.

I to have an L4-L5 herniated disk but I had the Pudendal neuralgia and pelvic pain before the herniated disk. I believe it is related. Did you ever hear of the nerves cross talking to one another. They kinda communicate with each other. I know it sounds insane but it’s the truth. So S1 communicates with L5 and also L4. It’s just the theory of what cane first the chicken or the egg and I don’t really think that matters because they both cause damage to our bodies.

I hope that made sense. You are in my prayers. Deb.

It does make sense to me. Getting drs to understand that theory can prove to be difficult. Lol. Thank you for your concern and input. N

Yes, that is so true but a doctor is the one who told me that. So I still go to him. Very smart man. Lol. Hang in there ok. We are all here for you. Deb.

You are not alone. It helps me to know that there I believe over 5,000 members on this site alone. I would have to check that out but that’s what I heard and we all support each other. Even if it’s just a kind word when your day is so bad from pain. You hang in there and if you ever need to talk just PM me ok. 👍God bless lots of positive thoughts and prayers sending your way. Debbie.
