Hi there janebee, just thought I would mention, I take 300mg pregabalin twice a day and 75mg amitriptyline at night which helps with my nerve pain due to surgery back in 2012. prolapse repair. been on this dose since 2013 and yes I also get forgetful but doesn't bother me to much. combine this with the menopause and hey ho away you go. just blame it on the meds ha ha

Hi stenosis 49 you are so funny that cheered me up I honestly think my GP upped the dosage to quick as I am lots of other meds for strokes and brain surgery.I really thought I wasent on this planet and I would go to get something

and dident know what I was going to get that’s nothing new but it was worse than usual I am going to try them again and start on the low dose and when I feel ready to go up I will and I will take I t my own pace my daughter nearly had a fit when she seen me I would stand up and I dident know what I was standing up for it sounds funny now but we need to try different meds to help this excruciating pain thanks so much for you r reply I am still laughing as I am writing this well I suppose if you do something stupid as you said you can say it’s the meds. All my love. Xx

Hey

Sorry i noticed you mentioned about nerve pain from a prolapse repair...

What kind of surgery or repair did u have ?

Hi lulububs, I had a bladder and rectal prolapse repair but also a tot (mesh) for mild stress incontinence. but it took a year to get this dam tot out as gp or consultant at the hospital didn't understand my pain. went through so many procedures to find the route of my pain but still left me with unbearable pain . Hence the meds and now a chronic pain sufferer.
