PNE - How are people diagnosed?

As we all know, there's PN and PNE. I'm curious to find out how people with PNE were diagnosed. What tools/methods were used to diagnose PNE. Thanks!

i was diagnosed by examination and mainly nerve blocks, these are the main diagnostic tools for pne and pne

Can't nerve blocks help if it's just PN as well? I tried the transgluteal PN nerve block and it did nothing for me.

for some people nerve blocks help with the pain, for others like myself, the pain relief was short lived, but gave doctors the diagnosis of pne
