Right groin area excruciating pain when weight put on it or if I try to move it out from covers and pick it up. pain in back knee & butt.

Hurts so bad I hate to have to get up to go to restroom. It's been going on for4 weeks. Finally say dr who did my knee replacement on same side. He x-rayed knees and hips and said he thinks it's coming from L5. I also have DDD. HAS ANYONE HAD SOMETHING SIMILAR AND DID YOU FIND RELIEF? He put me on steroids. I hope and pray this works, but not yet. Pls help!
