Hi Kelly,

The article points out that it's not just surgery and/or medical treatment that's important but that this has to go alongside the effects the disease on people's mental wellbeing and that this also needs dealing with at the same time. The latter is generally ignored !

So true! It's cyclical I think, the more pain, the more depression, the harder it is to cope with the pain! Thanks for posting x
