Hi, my name is Miznah and I am a research student from the University of Southampton. As part of my research, I am developing a measure that can be used to assess the impact of chronic pelvic pain (CPP) and vulval pain on women’s lives. It has been designed specifically for women with CPP and/or vulval pain and aims to assess factors they consider relevant and important to them.

If you are female, aged 18 or over and have experienced pelvic pain and/or vulval pain for a minimum of 3 months, you are eligible to take part.

If you agree to take part, you would be required to fill out a series of questions online. Questions will ask about how your pain has impacted your life as well as your mood and general wellbeing. The study should take approximately between 20-30 minutes to complete. All data will be confidential.

If you would like to participate in the study, please use the following link: isurvey.soton.ac.uk/11632

If you have any questions or would like to contact me, please email me at: maa1g10@soton.ac.uk

Thank you!

I'd like to take part but I've been pain free for a year (with meds) so I can only say I am doing great :(

Hi. thanks so much for your interest in my study! I'm very glad to hear that your medication has helped with your pain :). You would be eligible if you are taking medication to manage your pain. You would not be eligible if the medication "cured" your pain so that you are pain-free without medication. I hope that makes sense, please do not hesitate to ask me anything else.
