Considering a hysterectomy - good advice

This advice is aimed at at a US audience where more hysterectomies are carried out than in many European countries. However much if it still applies here too.

Judy is right. There are a lot of things that can cause pelvic pain, and jumping to the hysterectomy conclusion will have life long effects. I'm so glad I kept my uterus, despite being bully-ed by doctors. I'm not willing to give up my great sex life or be reliant on hrt for the next 20 years. The best resource for me was always Hers. The site isn't pretty to look at, bt the info is terrific. hersfoundation.org/
