Dont know how you are all coping with this warm weather but it saps what little bit of energy I have.
I have noticed (and did last year aswell) that when it gets warm my skin particulally on my arms and my legs feels like it is burning even when I have not been out in the sun.
Just wondered if this happened to anyone else?

Tanks Neata I will try it. Last year I kept a mousturiser in the fridge and put that on when it got too bad but the heat soon came back.
I've never been a sunlover but have to say that during 2010 before diagnose I was shown to have a low Vit D level (which wasn't bad at all when I got print-out finally (I rang the consultant's secretary and asked her what 'not too bad' with regards to the Vit D level did it mean, what was supposed to be normal as in a figure and she obliged and sent me at the time), so since last yr just after diagnose I started to take in the sun. Proved in my favour as later last yr my Vit D levels were of a normal level and that was without any supplements/injections.
I find I hate being in the sun but since PBC find I force myself to have lunch outdoors in the sun or have a walk in it. I can't say I find I feel like I am burning afterwards nor if I've not been in the sun when temps are warmer so can't help out there......except to suggest maybe buying a little squirty bottle that chemists, Boots, etc sell for you to fill with water and spray on your skin, see if that helps. I used to have one for summer yrs ago and used it on my face when it was hot.
I've always found I feel a bit more lethargic in the hot weather regardless of now having PBC so I personally don't exactly put that down to the heat.
Thanks for the replies. I have been on the fibromyalgia website this afternoon and apparently its a fibro thing rather than a pbc one. Thats the problem when you have more than one thing.
Zipitydoo, Instead of just itching. My skin on my arms, legs and back actually burns. I also have the Fibro, and been diagnosed with it for 13 years. The itching just started this year, for the PBC has advanced. My LFT's have shown elevated for 19 yrs. I use a lotion called Sarna, which has camphor and menthol in it.
hi have not got the same as you, but was wondering if any of you suffer from a really itchy foot infection, it is very red, itchy and now has small blisters on it, my doctor was treating it as excma and prescriber dermavate, but that no longer works and is worse, and very dry, have now got a prescription for Terbinafine cream, i also have a fungal infection on all my toenails and think they may be related, i wonder if it has any connection with PBC?
