Bruising easily

i am actually writing this for a young lady whom i found out has PBC and is a former student. She is not fifty, and seems to have an aggressive form of PBC. She has no started getting bruising for now reason that se=he can recollect. Is this a common symptom for AMY stage of the disease?

Hi Gaspereaux, I was diagnosed with PBC in 2018 and am asymptomatic. Take Urso twice a day. I have lots of bruises and bleed easily and is hard to stop. My doctor sent me to see a haemtoligist. After tests the conclusion was I have ITP, Immune thrombocytopenia a low platelet count. Although they say it is not connected to PBC directly it is another autoimmune disorder that our bodies seem to throw at us. I am being monitored if it goes below a certain level can be treated with steroids or given extra platelets but cannot be cured. Hope this is of some help
