RA overlap just diagnosed. Who else? Tips?

I have had PBC since 2009. I have just been diagnosed with overlap rheumatoid arthritis. UGH! I know some of you have too. Would appreciate any tips. Unfortunately for me because of both PBC and the fact I am allergic to sulpha the list of medications is small. Starting with hydroxicholriquine. What other natural remedies have any of your tried? I’m already gluten free and dairy free. Also cut out some high Fodmap foods. What supplements? I read borage oil. I already take fish oil. Anyone tried acupuncture? Any tips for managing this with PBC appreciated. TIA

Hi! This is Donna. I just started facilitating the group today. Many of those with PBC here in the US do have RA as well. Many see a rheumatologist for that condition as well. Is that a possibility for you? They would have knowledge of more medications that might be available for you to take. Is it possible for you (wherever you live) to join a facility that offers arthritis water exercises classes? These are amazing. Where do you live?

Yes, seeing a rheumatologist. That is who diagnosed me. I swim already.

swimming is one of the best ways to exercise if you have arthritis of any kind - hope you can get some relief/answers from the rheumatologist.
