Ear problems

Hi all, any of you have sore itchy ears.

I am on plaquenil for arthralgia and myalgia. Saw ENT consultant who mentioned sjorgrens but said pain isn't part of sjorgrens. So I'm wondering if painful ears part of PBC......long shot I know.

I had itchy ears, not sore. Went to ENT and he said my ears were fine. So I went to the dermatologist and she said it was like psorasis and I used the same oil prescribed by the ETN to rub into ear with a qtip. It is fine now.

Never heard of painful ears being part of PBC, I have heard of the itch being in the ears though. Maybe ask at the PBC foundation if they’ve heard of of it.

I occasionally get itchy ears and use vaseline in them but have never had painful ears. I do suffer with tinnitus.

Hello…..I have had itchy ears as well, not inside my ear, but on the outside. I never connected it to PBC. I just thought it was probably the spray and leave in conditioner I was using on my hair.
