itching in the ears

I’ve had Pbc for several years and have itching on my body. I have a dear friend who also has PBC. She has itching in her ears. Has anyone else had itching in the ears? Over the years I’ve been on here I’ve not heard of that. Just curious.

Yes, I have itching in the ears occasionally, I usually use a bit of petroleum jelly, Vaseline.

Hi I get itchy ears and at times needed antibiotics.

I use Ear Calm spray and it helps.

Had PBC now for 30 years.

it’s the most annoying place to get an itch, knowing that you can’t get to it! I use ear drops as soon as it starts, seems to help keep it at bay. 🙂

Hi, I have had itching and pain in my ears. My ENT doc said my ears are very dry. I also have tinnitus and probably sjogren's.

hi yes I also suffer with very itchy ears, sometimes it drives me crazy 😜 and a lot of dry flaky skin inside my ears. I try not to itch too much because it only results in ear infections so I rub coconut oil very gently just inside the lobes can’t say it really makes a huge difference but it does help with the dryness. I too have PBC and Sjögrens.

yes have suffered from itching ears for years and also sometimes get antibiotic ear spray

wow!! I’ve had terrible itching in my ears for decades and never thought about it being associated to my Sjogrens or PBC.

I will try ear drops. It’s so incredibly miserable!!!

I often get itchy ears I warm a little olive oil and put couple of drops to both ears weekly, and I bought this wee spiral ear thing I tried to take a photo and just give a wee scratch I get the nurse and doctor to check the ears but always ok no infection

Interesting, I have itching in the ears but never considered it to be PBC related. I have dry skin and it drives me crazy.
