Information on Sitosterolemia

I was diagnosis with OBC 6 years ago ... had liver biopsy l year ago finding a where hypertoxity due to statins ... no statin therapy since then chlorestrol & ALT have been elevated since biopsy ..genetic blood test has now revealed I have a condition called” Sitosterolemia” a rare altered gen condition ... due to plant sterols found in foods ...has anyone this condition r information I would be grateful

I am sorry to see no one has been able to comment on your post. Are you able to tune in to the Thursday afternoon Q&A presented by the PBC Foundation on FaceBook or in a click meeting, starts 1400 hours UK time. They usually have an expert in the field of PBC, you can ask your question before hand via an email to the PBC Foundation giving the specialist time to think. You can find all their presentations on their web page, if not already a member it is free to join.
