Hard liver

Hello everyone,

I hope that everyone is keeping safe and calm at this difficult time. Tbh I very rarely post anything but I do regularly read and learn from the wonderful posts that people to send on here

I have got PBC and have had it for 5 years. I have been getting a weird feeling the last couple of weeks and it doesn’t seem to be subsiding so I decided to mention it on here to see if anyone else had experienced what I am experiencing and could shed some light on why I am feeling this, my liver feels hard, like a large stone! No pain so far! Just an uncomfortable feeling. Very strange!

Has anyone else experienced this? Does anyone know what it means?

Hello kimphoebe, Thankyou for your response yes I have had a fibroscan but not recently, it was a few years ago now.

SOrry I forgot to reply to the result! I think that I had some scarring. Not positive as it was a couple of years ago now.

Hi Sallum, to put your mind at rest, it sounds like it's time for another fibroscan. So contact your doctor and let us know how you get on.
