151 Alkaline Phosphate in LFT test
Hi, I’m new to this too but I understand that the normal range of ALP is
30 -130. Have you been prescribed Urso which is supposed to improve liver function and enzyme levels. Xx. Good luck
Hi my hepatologist told me that in someone with pbc an alp less than 200 is what they are aiming for. I don’t think our levels will ever be that of someone without pbc. Mine fluctuate between 140-185 ish & he doesn’t seem worried about it. I hope this helps 😊
Mine was 229 at diagnosis almost 3 years ago. It dropped as low as 107. November it was back up to 212. January down to 132. It isn’t uncommon for it to fluctuate. My drs were happy for it to be under 200.
My alk phos was over 400 at diagnosis. After 20 years on Urso, its never been over 200, even if I've been sick. So dont worry at 150! The main LFT to worry about is Bilirubin. As long as it stays normal, nothing to worry about if thevother LFT's fluctuate. Good health!
