Systemic sclerosis and vein

I'm curious whether anyone with scleroderma or systemic sclerosis has trouble opening veins for IV drugs?, And if anyone has established a cvp line for IV medications?

Small Calcified lump in abdomen

My rheumatologist says it can’t be linked to scleroderma, but she’s not very knowledgeable about the disease. So I was wondering if anyone else have anything like this? Thanks in advance.

HRT & Scleroderma

I've been trying to find information about this online and found a study suggesting it might be helpful, but another one said it could increase scleroderma symptoms. My next rheumy appointment isn't until the summer, so I can't ask until then, and GP doesn't know about scleroderma.

Does Nifedipine make ankles swell up?

I have been corresponding with a lady who has just been diagnosed by her GP with possible Scleroderma. The lady had been to a podiatrist with a sore toes, the podiatrist passed a message onto her GP to investigate if the lady had Scleroderma. Wow what a fab podiatrist.

Dear all with Lupus, sjorgen syndrome and scleroderma, I have a question I hope you can all help me with. Have you had symptoms like a blocked nose, very itchy or burning skin, red flushes in the face, asthma, burning eyes (with tearing) before you developed lupus, sjorgen or scleroderma?

Is it worth doing 'internal stretch' or muscle exercises?

When diagnosed with Limited Systemic Scleroderma a year ago, I was sent info sheets with hand stretching/ flexing exercises and the need to do them often was reinforced in verbal advice.

Hi 👋 Over the last 6 months or so I’ve been suffering with mouth issues. Very dry mouth/tongue and ulcers. The inside of my mouth/cheeks are so sore, I suspect it’s tightening. Or if the scleroderma is responsible, which maybe makes surgery not an option? Thanks so much for any advice.

What's your Cholestyramine receipt?

Hello all! Just for grins and maybe a little help out there for those of us that have to take Cholestyramine every day, I thought we could post how we fix it. I take Cholestyramine light and mix it with icy orange juice as the stand by but I find that way too sweet. Recently I discovered blending

Where to book nailfold capillaroscopy and wait times?!

My wife has recently developed purple toes/feet and was experiencing some pain around her joints over the last 3 months, reducing her mobility. She has nearly got full range of motion back but the area around her joints still cause pain particularly in the evenings around knees/elbows. I'm worried this
