Typing on the run here. On my phone, so excuse brevity.
Each lab has its ranges for " normal levels" that usually is part of results..
On the Albumin... is there a decimal point ? Like 4.1 ?
The Numbers at glance don't look that bad at all. doesn't your report show the labs "normal range" for each item?
I hope that as you see numbers in context you can start to settle in a bit. My numbers also went down before I even started meds... I think we all agree bumps here and there in numbers are " normal" for us. Hepatologist worries when levels continue and continue to rise rise rise..
Here's something that can help understand labs -- hugs to you
As EileenUSA has said there will be other numbers (usually to the right) showing parameters.
From the laboratory of my last blood tests parameters for bilirubin are 3-20
Alk.Phos 30-130 Albumin 35-50 total protein 61-79
I cannot see AST
If your blood test results have the same parameters then you are able to work out where you are, but the specialists do not look at just one set of results they look to see how you progress over a given period of time so it is good to keep your records. Results can fluctuate.
I have done a spread sheet so am able to see the improvement over (for me) a 10 year period.
