Have hypertension that is not responding to lifestyle changes. I was diagnosed with PBC 8 years ago and doing ok on Urso. I am always very nervous about medications! Does anyone take daily medication for hypertension?

I am taking enalapril & took it even before pbc diagnosis. It is fine to take. If you have doubts, run it by your hepatologist.

I was on Benicar for a few years but last year switched to lisinopril. Hepatologist and family doc both signed off on the switch.
