So happy for you!!! Now relax & enjoy your life!
Hooray! Glad for you!
What is Alk Phos? Urso also works for me with other labs, but, ALP stuck at 170 and doesn't go further down, actually it went up a little, in the last test. The upper normal reference limit is 119, in my lab report, so, I'm way over.
Thanks!
All Phos is an enzyme that is made in the liver and bones. A high level suggests a problem with the bile ducts
Yes, this I know. I've been diagnosed with PBC in 2016 and on Urso since then. GGT went down, became normal, ALP too, but, not enough to be in the normal range. So, Urso is working, but, seems that ALP is harder to bring down.
Best to you!
Hepatologist told me in pbc patients Alk Phos is higher than normal population & he says anything under 200 he considers normal for the pbc population. So you needn’t worry too much.
That's good to now.
overall results below 200 are 'acceptable.' Many never get to that 'normal' range that is indicated on your lab results. What's important is to look at the overall trend of your results. Keep track in the PBC app - makes it ease to see them all. Fluctuations are normal.. just can be scary sometimes when the results go up. Not much easy about having PBC sometimes.....
Great news!
Great news - happy for you
We all celebrate with you!!!! great news! Keep on living life....
