Hi all, was wondering if anyone has recently bought travel insurance that they thought was reasonable?

I went on the comparison websites , for pre existing conditions , couldn't get annual policy but ok for separate ones , I went for the post office ( not the cheapest, but s name I recognised) spoke to someone at the post office it's much cheaper online than over the phone as they use different underwriters, if you want to pay ( check details ) on the phone do on line all the way up to where you have to pay then phone and they will honour the on line price x

I usually use Travel Guard before each trip. If I order this insurance within a couple of days after my first trip deposit, pre existing conditions are covered at no additional cost.

The insurance costs depend on the level of insurance you choose. I go on line first to learn, then I call the company to get my questions answered.

I hope that this helps.

Try World First. I buy a multi trip for approx £109 covering PBC, hypertension, osteopenia, cervical spondylosis, migraine. All covered but £100 excess if claiming for any of the conditions 😊

I'm now covered by World First too, paid £177 for both my husband and myself for a years Europe cover. I have PBC, underactive thyroid, Sphincter of Oddi Dysfunction, hypertension and arthritis - all are covered with an additional £75 excess if I claim for any of them as opposed to anything new. Those ailments added about £45 to the premium which I thought was very reasonable. Boots were also competitive regarding cover and price.
